Year 7-12 Secondary Athletics Carnival will be held Thursday 8th June 2023. Please ensure your child has a hat, sunscreen, water and appropriate footwear on the day. It is encouraged that students wear their house colours on the day. Prizes for the best dressed! A BBQ will be operating on the day. We would love for families to attend and cheer on our Students throughout the day. If you are able to assist on the day for record keeping, please notify the office staff prior to the carnival.

Stage 5 and 6 (Years 9-11) students enrolled in Music as an elective are invited to participate in an Education Excursion to the Merimbula Jazz Festival occurring in Term 2 (Thursday 8th - Monday 12th June 2023). The festival occurs over the June Long Weekend every year and is renowned for being one of the largest and most prestigious in the southern hemisphere attracting highly skilled musicians from all around Australia. This year it is the 41st anniversary of the festival and it is looking to be a marvellous occasion. This is an exciting opportunity for students as they will have the chance to see and experience high-quality, live jazz music as well as participate in several other exciting activities listed below. • Tathra Headland Walk and Heritage Listed Tathra Wharf • Eden Killer Whale Museum • Whale Watching • Flying Fox • Ropes Course • Archery • Mini Golf • Bowling/Laser Tag

Both the K- 2 Infants and Year 3-6 Primary Athletics Carnivals will be held on Friday 9th June 2023. This is a non-competitive carnival for 5, 6 and 7 year olds. 8 year old K-2 Students will be competing with the Year 3-6 Primary students. Please ensure your child has a hat, sunscreen, water and appropriate footwear on the day. It is encouraged that students wear their house colours. A BBQ will be operating on the day. Stage 3 students are invited to participate in the Stage 3 Great Aussie Bush Camp Excursion (Tea Gardens) in Term 3 (Monday 7th - Friday 11th August 2023). The students will participate in various adventure activities which encompasses team building and social skills. Some of the activities that students will participate in include Dual flying fox, Canoeing, Giant swing, Rock climbing and Archery. This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to interact with their peers in a safe, relaxed and fun manner. Consent form and a $50 deposit must be received by Friday 12th May to secure a place for your child. Full payment of the excursion will be required by Friday 28th July 2023.

Stage 2 students are invited to participate in the Stage 2 Excursion to Dubbo in Term 3 (Thursday 14th - Friday 15th September 2023). This is an exciting opportunity as students will have the chance to stay at the Dubbo Zoo and experience educational activities in Dubbo. There are limited spots available, consent form with $50 deposit due by Thursday 25th May 2023.
